I agree with you about Sarah Palin and her speech. I want to believe that people in general are smart enough to see through that kind of stuff, but experience has led me to believe that this simply isn't the case. It's pretty remarkable to realize that it has been 7 years since 9-11, Osama Bin Laden is still at large, Iraq is now a breeding ground for terrorists and Republicans have still somehow managed to fool people into believing that they are the ones who are tough on terrorism.
