Judgement
Thank you for bringing this up. It seems that discussing these things labels us as sexist but I am discussing this as a female and a mother. This discussion has nothing to do with sexism but has everything to do with judgement.
This concerns me. I can't believe that a person who had delivered four children would think that she should give a speech and then fly home to Alaska to deliver after her water broke. That is the worst decision she could have made for herself and for the child. If this is how she makes decisions, she is seriously lacking in common sense.
Did this doctor truly approve of this? If so, I hope that the AMA is looking into her judgement and her ability to practice. I can not believe that a physician would approve of this.
Sarah Palin's judgement in selecting a physician is even more indicative of her poor judgement.
