Obama camp calls Palin ad claim a 'lie'

By thePoliticalCarnival

About freaking time.

Obama spokesman Bill Burton reacts to McCain's new ad repeating the Bridge to Nowhere claim:

Despite being discredited over and over again by numerous news organizations, the McCain campaign continues to repeat the lie that Sarah Palin stopped the Bridge to Nowhere. John McCain has voted with George Bush 90% of the time and he and Sarah Palin will continue Bush's economic policies, his health care policy, his education policy, his energy policy, and his foreign policy. McCain and Palin will say or do anything to make people believe that they will change something besides the person sitting in the Oval Office.

the bridge

The bridge to nowhere is where this lying couple are headed, Palin was for the bridge , before she found out, the bridge would not sell on ebay.

What she continually fails to mention is that she may have

finally said no to taking money for the bridge, but they did in fact take that earmark money and use it for other projects, so did she save the taxpayers any money at all ? No. In fact, they are apparently still building the access road for the non-existent bridge. So, either they expect to still build it at some time in the future, or they have no idea what the hell they are spending their money on in Alaska.
